Thugs Rob Gun from Kabale Hotel Security, Police Investigate.
Police in Kabale have launched a manhunt for unidentified thugs who allegedly stole a gun from a security guard attached to Ruhama Veterans Security Services at Pearl Express Hotel in Central Division of Kabale Municipality.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate, told our reporter that the thugs today morning at around 4:20am found Osbert Byoonanebye, a security guard at Pearl Express Hotel asleep and took off with SAR Rifle with two rounds of ammunition.
Maate said Byoonanebye attempted to chase the thugs in vain. He added that after the incident, Byoonanebye also took off and efforts to arrest him and recover the gun from the suspects are ongoing.
