Top English Premier League team, Arsenal Football Club will visit Uganda next year on a sports tourism program.
The Chairman of the National Council of Sports- NCS, Bosco Onyik says that after three meetings with officials of Arsenal Football club in London last month, they accepted to visit Uganda in June next year.
The official made it clear that the meetings were fruitful because management of Arsenal Football Club have decided they will have partnership with Uganda where they will train coaches, allow the Uganda Cranes use their facilities for camping and also build an academy.
Onyik said that it is time for Uganda to start marketing sports tourism out there so that several top teams and sports personalities come to Uganda.
