UNATU Goes Digital: New MIS App Launched
The Uganda National Teachers’ Union (UNATU) has today launched a Management Information System (MIS) application, which aims at advancing digitization among its members nationwide.
The application was launched by the UNATU Chairperson Zadock Tumuhimbise, during the 19th Annual Delegates’ Conference for UNATU at Agaba Centre in Kabale Municipality. The two day conference that ended today was running under the theme “Valuing Teachers’ Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education”.
Tumuhimbise, explained that the application was designed to enhance communication among the union members.
The UNATU Secretary General, Filbert Baguma, described the application as long overdue, adding that it will help to enhance the performance of teachers and head teachers in their respective schools.
