Bishop Condemns Growing SGBV Cases Perpetrated by Women
The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, the Rt Rev Onesimus Asiimwe has decried what he termed as increasing female led Sex and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) in families and at workplaces.
Presiding over the wedding service of Benson Tugume and Jackline Tumuheirwe at Yakobo Orikwera Buhandagazi Parish Church of Uganda in Rukungiri District, Bishop Asiimwe used his summon to condemn open sexual temptations by women in offices as a different form of violence, but asked men to exercise self-control.
The Bishop also strongly discouraged unfaithfulness or infidelity in Christian marriages.
