4 Murder Suspects Arrested in Kyondo Village
Police in Kabale District have arrested four suspects who allegedly assaulted to death Piason Niwandinda, a resident of Kyondo Village in Katenga Parish, Kamuganguzi Sub County of Kabale district.
The suspects were identified as Jackline Tindiwegyi, 50, and Mathias Mashemeeerwa aged 28, both residents of Kyondo Village, while the identities of two other suspects were withheld by police in order not to jeopardize investigations.
The Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate said yesterday that the suspects allegedly developed a misunderstanding with Niwandinda on Sunday over unknown reasons, which resulted into a fight. Maate said that the deceased was hit on the head with a blunt object and died instantly. He said that the suspects will help in the investigations.
