Man Dies After Fatal Arsenal-Man Utd Clash in Kabale.
Police in Kabale District are hunting for an Arsenal fan after he allegedly assaulted a Manchester United fan at Kyobugombe Trading Centre in Kaharo Sub County, which resulted into his death.
The Kaharo Sub County Chairperson; Edmond Tumwesigye has identified the suspect only as Onan, while the deceased is Benjamin Okello, both residents of Katenga Parish in Kaharo Sub County. According to Tumwesigye, the duo started fighting on Sunday evening shortly after Liverpool scored an equalizer against Arsenal in the 81st minute of the game that was played at Emirates Stadium.
He added that Okello was first rushed to Bukinda Health Centre III in Rukiga District and later referred to Rugarama Hospital where he succumbed to injuries last evening. The Kabale District Police Commander; Joseph Bakaleke confirmed the incident, saying efforts are on to arrest the suspect on the run. The Katenga LCIl Chairperson, Edward Byabasheija, said the suspect currently on the run has been a habitual criminal who was terrorizing the area.
