MP Kamara Urges Mothers to Choose Health Facility Deliveries for Safety.
The Kabale Municipality Member of Parliament, Dr Nicholas Thaddeus Kamara, has encouraged mothers to deliver in health facilities, to ensure safer deliveries and improved outcomes for both mothers and their babies.
Dr Kamara made the call today while addressing a press conference at his office in Mutambuka in Kabale Municipality, as he unveiled an Ambulance van registration number UA 884AF, which he procured to support in the referral of emergency cases to other hospitals in Kabale Municipality and the neighboring areas.
He appealed to mothers to utilize health facilities in their areas since they provide access to skilled birth attendants, emergency care, and other necessary resources. Dr Kamara also said that the ambulance will help to improve the emergency response to patients with life-threatening medical conditions in the municipality.
