Kigezi set for 4-Day showdown of KDGLA Tournament.

Kigezi region is gearing up for this year’s Kigezi Districts Guild Leaders Association (KDGLA) Tournament, which kicks off on Thursday 24^th September until Sunday September 27th. The annual event will bring together students from higher institutions of learning across the region.

KDGLA President Junior Nabaasa said the tournament, which has been held since 2006, aims to promote unity, social networking, talent development and student leadership. Nabaasa said player screening will take place on Thursday followed by competitions in football, netball, handball and volleyball at Kigezi High School Primary Playground in Kabale Municipality.

KDGLA General Secretary Lambert Mugume has called on the public, local leaders and well-wishers to attend the games in large numbers to will boost the morale of student and strengthen unity across the Kigezi sub-region.
